February update on all things summery

Its been a busy old period in the world of makemysummer.com but I thought I was long overdue in sharing the latest updates with you all so am taking time out to catch up now.

Over the last 6 weeks makemysummer has visited many Universities in the quest to find enthusiastic students looking to have a fantastic summer abroad. We visited Swansea,Bath and Bristol to name just a few and tomorrow we will be heading to Cantebury to continue in our search...

So far to date we have helped over 100 students to make key decisions about how and where they want to spend their summer months and are looking forward to helping many more in the forthcoming months.

We have welcomed many new summer camps to the site and although it is taken a little time to become famiiar with the concept of posting their jobs on here the feedback has been really good and we are excited about working with these camps in the future.

makemysummer.com has also been looking forward to next year and how we can provide even more services for our enthusiastic summer seekers - watch this space for information about partnerships with key graduate employers and travel providers.

In the meantime, we are proud to announce the first of our 'Spotlight on Summer' events that will take place in Cardiff on March 6th. This is a free event to showcase opportunities for proactive students looking to get ahead in the quest for graduate employment. If you come along you can:
- be interviewed for a place at summer camp and talk online with real camp directors to discuss your job options and chances of placement - meet with graduate employers and find out what experience they truly value when seeking out top graduates - talk to careers service representatives and have your job CV and interview style assessed, we will provide great tips to improve your chances of gaining work
